As Dave Hall mentioned, I am going to need some help here guys. Your follow up could be the difference between me getting screwed, and me getting a fair replacement value.

If you just recently sold your RS6, would you be willing to provide me with a written statement, or copy of the Bill of Sale indicating your sales price?

If you recently joined our fold, would you be willing to provide a written statement to how much you paid for your car?

I am sure that these will need to be notarized to be valid, so there will be some work on your end.

For a refernence point, my car just hit 70K miles. So it has like 70,152 on the clock. Between the Insurance company and myself we just spent 8K to make the paint, bumpers, windsheild etc look perfect due to some hail damage. It also had RS6 plus pedals, grills and black optics.

From what I have been seeing, a car in the this condition would be trading hands between 25K and 28K.

If anyone is willing to help (Oh, how I hope you are). Please drop me a PM. We can keep this off the forum to protect both the innocent and guilty :hihi:

I am willing to refund anyone for notary fees, I just know this is going to be a tough battle.

Also, if anyone has access to a recent Manheim report this would also be helpfull.

Thanks again for standing behind a fellow forum member. It means a lot to me. I have until this Friday to provide the details to the total loss department.

My goal is to have at least 5 references. This equates to roughly a .5% sample, which would be pretty impressive.

Warm regards,

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

As I mentioned today, mine was a salvage car and not a price you want to use. However, I did find the ad from the dealer where I purchased my A6...

http://axusa.com/newandusedcars/4686/993337/1ae69cd2-0c25-4d8a-a442-b8c82116fcac/none/2003-Audi-RS6-Lancaster-PA-17603.aspx

I'm not sure if this will help you at all, but it is a car with similar mileage. I hope everything works out for you. After our meeting today, I could tell how sad you were about the whole ordeal, and I wish you the best of luck in getting the outcome you deserve.

So a little over a year ago, when my first RS6 got totalled they paid me 28.5k for it. It had 72k on the clock.

RS6 is a hard car to value for insurance purposes. Book value is probably between $18k and $22k. But if you can puul a report from Manheim all of these cars sell at auction for $6k+ over book. Good luck.

Trade in at 89K of $18K in April so no real help here. Wheels and my RNSE sold got me to $21.5K which would have been what I would have done on a private sale.

Wow. Values are going up. Boy have i been low-balled in the past on trade in when i had lower miles. I would have expected to see my old car on that list.

Ridiculous low prices IMHO for what "it is".

If you need an update on mmr(manheim pricing) please let me know, i see no reason to post since 4everRS just posted them from todays log.

Do you think it would help if I did a freeze frame screen from my galves screen to see what market value would be on trade in? I know that the insurance company knows what that book is. If you give me the exact specs i can bring up the screen with current pricing for your car. It may or may not help.

I think we are okay...I am negotiating now and we are close. Thanks so much for everyone that offered their personal information to make this work for me.

Thanks again,

Stephen

I'm happy to go on the record. Just paid $41,995 (that's right) for a beast with 6,808 miles. Let me know if making a statement helps at all.

Awesome....is it the Avus Silver car from VA? If so, that is a really sweet car. Good luck, your NAV is on its way, will email you tracking number tonight...

Thanks again.
