1168411686After searching long and hard I found a set of HRE M40s that had never been used (owner's car was hit after he ordered them).

What do you think?

Very Sexy - that was my first thought for my car ( in satin black) until I stacked weight and price against my VMR's ...... couldn't jsutify it given all the other mods but they are DAMN well made sexy wheels !

Cost no object they are one of the best options.....

I wish they made a good 5 spoke option with lot's of dish.....

So jealous, the real deal... Hand-forged in the USA.

They are damn shiny. I would've powder coated them dark grey before the tires went on, but that's just me, I like the dark rim thing.

Actually I've got a couple sets of wheels. I'm parting with the OEM 18"s that the car came with. They have a couple nicks/rash, but nothing serious. The tires (perrelli pzero rosso) have lots of treads left, though one tire needs to be patched. Still interested? email me at marketing@greenwichct.com if you are. I'd love to sell them to someone i can meet up with so i don't have to ship.

Well done on going 1 piece. Although, could you have pushed the offset out a bit further? looks close to stock offset.

these were custom built for an s6 that doesn't have as much of a need for offset. i'm going to leave them now and see what i think, but have already considered moving them out a bit.

What year S6 were these made for?

Do you have the rim size and backspace? Tire size?

(19x9....57.1 Hub bore.et40.) - think it was a 2008 s6

me too. when i first started the search i had a much lower budget set aside though.....
after doing a ton of comparison work i couldn't help myself. i was extremely lucky to find these (second hand, but never used/still in box).

funny thing was i had to go to the forums to make sure they fit without relinquishing where i was buying them...

I'm starting to agree.

As mentioned, i didn't choose the ET and am working with what i got.

I'll probably ad spacers when i take them off for winter then put them back on.

That being said, having them farther in will protect me a little bit from that dreaded curb!

So after two days I can't begin to tell you the difference I'm feeling in the car. I wasn't expecting this!
Went from some OEM RS4 wheels that I love (they're now being refrubished and then having 19" blizzaks thrown on them) to these 19" HRE M40s.

Maybe it's all in my head, but the car feels so much lighter and better planted on the ground. LOVING IT!
