I'm wondering if they finally made the aluminum look plastic on the interior REAL aluminum. Also, can't wait to see the weight specs. If they were able to trim any weight ala what Audi did with the TT mkII. :cheers:

There is almost light years between 911 and girly TT... You don't compare those, never!

LOL, I'm simply wanting to see if they will take the opportunity to shed weight. Not "comparing" it to the TT. ;)

Sorry... Anyways, the weight is shed by some 40+kg. The car is bigger and if they hadn't applied aluminium it would have been by similar amount heavier...

So basically, (and again, I'm only comparing the practice of weight management, not the actual levels of performance), it did achieve what the TT did. Become larger and yet, at the SAME TIME, become lighter! This is where the future of cars needs to go for them to pacify the governmental requirements and yet, still meet enthusiast's performance demands. Well done Porsche! :cheers:
