I'd like some feedback on the best spark plug for the beast and your reasons.

TIA

There was a thread on this about 6+ months back:
the consensus was to stick with OEM but gap them at .25 or .26 for future upgrades (chip, air, meth)
and if you do choose to stick with OEM - Genuine has them at the lowest price around...

i can get these original NGK pfr7q plugs for $9.82 each thru my supplier. If your in the local area (NJ) and want me to order them and you can come by and pick them up. They have about 86 pieces in stock. That should be enough i think. Or any other parts you guys may need. I have the best parts distributor for all original german car parts. Most of my parts i order for my cars come in original audi/vw boxes with all part #s and stamps. Not aftermarket unless you choose so. They dont even like dealing with american car parts, crazy!

I've always used surface-gap plugs with great success on boosted engines. No gapping, no fouling, no potential to create a hot spot to cause preignition, never need to wonder if your plug is too cold or too hot in terms of heat range. They do require a fair bit of electricity though.

Haven't searched yet for surface-gap plugs that will fit the RS6, but I suspect I might do that at some point.
