The Skyline I have driven for the past five years has six dial gauges littering the A pillar and instrument binnacle, and three digital screen gauges reading out seven parameters, four of them in 10 second time-lapse graphs. Given the state of tune, I often feel like I'm driving by instruments :P
However, these gauges have saved me from blowing my engine on numerous occasions, and also allow me to have a detailed finger on the heartbeat of the engine condition.
With an ECU flash, I don't think I need to know everything, but I would like to have an analog boost pressure gauge, EGT gauge, and a wideband lambda digital gauge.
Any ideas on mounting places that will be unobtrusive and blend/be essentially invisible with the interior?
