I just love to see this kind of news! In times when N/A engines are ''dying'', MB has released its new AMG 5.5l V8...!!! :)

RS5 engine: 450 hp, 317 torque and 10.8L/km petrol (in RS5) and only 4.2L

new mb engine: 416 hp, 398 torque and 8.5L/km petrol (in new SLK 55) with cyl deactivate

that the RS5 likely weighs half a ton more than the SLK really doesn't make the merc engine all that special. with cyl deactivate i would expect more from it. it is also an engine that is 3 years "newer" vs the RS5 engine. not that big of an achievement imo.

I'd agree that it is not a big advancement, but still glad to hear someone is still doing NA. Me, I prefer TT. ;)
