I searched first, but it seems that most of the wider tire crowd is also looking for bigger wheels. I want to stay with 18, but only because I doubt any 17s would fit over the brakes. So on an 18x8.5 or 18x9 can a 285/35 fit without contact? Stock suspension, no lowering I am looking for a light wheels and wide tires approach. Thanks in advance!

I'm running 255/40-17 on 17x8 on a B5 S4 and it is a very nice setup. Actually 034 tracks this setup. Don't think there is any real issue with an additional 3cm on .5 inch, but it will be close. Reduced turn in perhaps and a smidgen longer until slip angle is set, but really what I am after is whether such a donut will fit in the wheel well on an 18x8.5 or 9. Thank you though! :addict:

Brav,
What about the 285 on 9"s? Think that would work?
Thanks!

If you are running an RS6 on 18's, one of my bud's here in San Diego that has 2 RS6 - he is running 275's on 18's and no spacers - otherwise you are rubbing... I haven't verified but those Kumho's he was running were VERY wide...
