Guys, just got my RS4 2007!
Fantastic car, really great improvement after my S4!
I'll post some pics later, as soon as I can make some nice ones.

Just got a question from the start.
It's got tyre pressure monitoring system, with radio pressure detectors sticked on original 19" rims. Seems like all RS4 got this.
But for use in winter I'd like to buy some forged 18" rims.
What if I put them on with out the detectors?
Will I have warning all the time on BC?
If yes, is it possible to equip some aftermarket wheels with these detectors? Maybe some part numbers?

Thank you!

if you have someone that has rosstech setting can be changed and configured as if you do not have the TPMS and you will not habve the error. if not depending on the wheels you can buy at a audi dealer the four special valves and pressure detectors but be carefull as these are realy expansive for the little that it brings.... for many of my customers I removed the setting when i installed new wheels fro them...

Thanks for the info!
I still think I would better install the detectors despite they're pricy, cause of the roads we have here. It often takes 2 wheels death per season, sometimes cause you're just not informed about low pressure...

Just found out at the local dealer that kit of detectors is about 700$

Ouch!!! try ECSTuning.com they sell oem parts for lots less...... All you will really need to know is the freq that your system is running. Have the tire pulled off and it will be on the transmitters. Did this on my BMW. Good luck happy motoring...
