What a great place to find, somewhere everyone knows your car, and are even willing to give advice and help out. This place is an invaluable research to all of us who don't really like to pay the dealership to tell us about and diagnose our RS6. It is a unique car on so many levels that it honestly leaves you lost and confused a lot.

I own a US model RS6 2003 saloon, named "Silvianna". Before her, I had an A6 4.2. I always wondered how fun it would be with twin turbos.. So I decided I needed to find out.

I've completely replaced the stock audio system with an almost exclusively Alpine setup, sans the sub, which is a JL 13" slim. Deck is a W505 with external Nav unit, Bluetooth, GPS, Sirius, and aux/iPod hookups. In the trunk are the amps and sub, hidden under a custom box/cover setup to hide and protect them. The Sirius uses the sharkfin antenna, so does the deck of course. The GPS will as soon as I get around to moving it. The doors all have Type-R components w/ neodymium mags (they fit very nicely), and the door panels aren't modified at all to hold them. I also have a backup cam.

I installed a 2kW inverter because power's convenient, and it had USB out as well. For this, I custom-molded the inverter's control panel and plugs into the little area under the arm rest (see pic). I ran in-wall 16ga wire and cat5 (for the control panel/screen) into the area where the Bose subs used to reside, and where the inverter lives now (pic below). I tested it with an angle grinder, hopefully for the only time..

I have a Valentine One installed (seen in pics under the rear-view mirror and in the instrument cluster), and plan to make it invisible by removing the IR sensors and making them more external, and somehow putting the radar antennas into the dash/headliner/mirror, whatever works out best. The screen is external and sits behind my steering wheel.

I have the STaSiS suspension kit, with Eibach springs. The reservoirs are mounted to the air filter box, seen in the engine compartment picture. they add a nice aesthetic touch, I think. I have a clear bra on my headlights and hood and bumper (only partial hood) which, I think, is a must-have (especially the headlamps and mirrors).

I have a GIAC ECU chip (completely new EEPROM, not tuned. I plan to get my stock chip tuned later), K&N air filters (wreaked havoc with my MAF sensors at first, of course..), and soon red Venair intercooler hoses (also an important upgrade, in the mail).

I run EBC redstuff pads and stock rotors, until I can find slotted + drilled rotors I like..and can afford. 18" Audi rims w/ Toyo Proxes 4 tires as well.

I'm not really bragging, I just always have problems and this might mean I have to explain my setup fewer times in the future, ha. Besides, I love my car! Anyways, here are the pics.
