JC gave it one hell of a thumbs up and rightly so. Stig's time was 1:25.0, faster than the E92 M3.

Just watched the lap in full and it was ever so slightly damp which makes the time it's achieved all the more amazing as we know full well the M3's time was done on a bone dry track. Though I do feel that the majority of people would struggle to get close to making this brilliant time because old Stiggie was fighting it every inch of the way, rarely was the tail anything other than sideways and it looked rather twitchy under heavy braking but given the skill I doubt too many things would be more enjoyable or that much quicker given the output it has.

Just watched it, it's one hell of a car. But, at the lapboard. Did anyone notice the Boxter at 1:24,9? Wonder what the Cayman R or the RS3 would do at the track. ;) Besides win that dragrace...
