View Full Version : Strange sensation/sound from rear of car on turns with acceleration.

I have noticed a subtle strange sensation from the rear end for the past month or so when I am turning and accelerating. It's sort of like something is slipping..
slight noise.
rarely can reproduce it on a straight acceleration, but almost always present when turning and accelerating.
It sounds like its just from the rear end of the car.
Any thoughts?

I wasn't gonna post that but that was my initial thought...
Would there be a ton of codes being tossed?
Or it is a cat... :)

When that mount goes bad, there will definitely be play. Change the diff mount. If there is still vibration, have your rear diff fluid changed. If your diff is going, you should notice the old fluid is metallic. Probably just the diff mount though.
