RS6 (and other model) Phatbox information

Someone had recently been asking about the Phatbox in the RS6 and I managed to scrape together a bunch of information related to the unit.

The link above is to a ZIP file that contains the installation manual, the PhatHack tools and guide that allow you to upgrade the disk in your DMS to any standard 2.5" laptop drive (I've got a 100GB drive in mine) as well as some other odds and ends. Even though the Phatbox is rather primitive by today's standards, it integrates very well with the factory system and sounds great and if the 20GB limit tweaks you, this is the solution.

That was Ben916, hopefully he'll read this soon. I gave him some info that I have as I have one in my tt daily commuter, but not in the RS6.

FYI, if anyone has an interest.

I've got a Phatbox I'm willing to sell with 20MB HD and cradle, etc. It worked perfectly in my S6 with the Stock Symphony II and the RNS-E.

The unit has VW connector and I had to use a VW to Audi adapter.
