The author really needs to include a mention of the difficulty Audi had with making the DRC system functional as well as durable. 1200 cars shipped to the US, 1200 failed DRC systems.
To begin to push the idea further in the face of electrically modified viscosity systems used by Cadillac, BMW and others is foolish until the Engineers add the needed durable yet HEAVIER components to make it work for 100,000 miles.
