This is the exact color combo I have been looking for. Looks clean inside & out. My only concern at this point is the location. Any opinions appreciated.

You may want to check about the autocheck light on the DIS in the picture of the steering wheel. It could just say OK (I doubt it), or be washer fluid but it might be good to know... And now looking at it more closely I think it is gas (plus the tank is on empty).

Just from the photos:
The rotors look like they are toast
The DRC looks high
gonna take a year to get all that ArmorAll off...

Unless the TB has been done, you will have that little gem to look forward to.

Have you looked at Erich's? (covertw12) - I think it is the same color combo but it has mods that many already do. - Texas

I know, I know, the armorall is waaay to thick, probably easier to just replace the tires ;) I did see the rotors, that would be part of the negotiation, as well as TB if not already tended to.
I did see Erich's avus/silver, which is a great looking car with all of the mods I would want. But in negotiations with my wife (some of you may know about this :argue: , we have settled on a lower price-point. Plus, I really prefer the ebony interior.
I do not want to be cheap in purchasing an RS6, but I have to stay around the $25K-or-under mark for now. Plus, I will need extra $$$ for a warranty on whatever I purchase. God this has been a long haul! I've been wanting a beast since they came out 8 years ago!!!

I was meeting a friend for lunch yesterday, and he was running late. I was driving by the local Audi stealership that had just re-opened and a bright imola RS4 caught my eye. So I dropped by to take a quick look, and a salesman asked if I wanted to take it for a spin. We drove it a few miles to their overflow parking lot (8th floor of a parking structure), and there before my eyes was an Avus RS4. I told him this color was much more to my liking, so we jumped into that one and took it for a spin. I think the guy had to change his underpants after the drive around the parking structure. Sounds great in sport mode!

Its all about space differences between the two. Maintenance is honestly probably less on the RS4 assuming its not suffering from carbon build-up. You need $$ to maintain an RS6 so be prepared.
