Didn't see a thread already started on the new Avant. To me, extremely good looking, especially in S line! LOTS of high resolution pics. BTW, the 2.0TDI is showing a curb weight of just 3600lbs, and while I doubt that is quattro, still! That is in 01' B5 S4 territory!

We have got our answer to whether the latest S-Tronic can handle more torque ................... not at the moment it appears. Otherwise the new bi-turbo 3.0TDI wouldn't have needed to switch over to the trusty 8 speed ZF automatic.
Shame.

Absolutely fantastic looking car. Bravo, Audi. This is just a perfect start-point for the next S6 and RS6. Such clean, elegant lines. This has to be one of the best-looking cars in production and without doubt the best looking estate/ wagon.
Joker, let's hope the S6 arrives soon and that a reinforced S-Tronic gearbox is ready soon enough to be mated to the 4.0-litre V8 engine. The S6 is going to sell like hot cakes.

I like everything but that the S-Tronic hasn't beefed up yet, otherwise a BIG thumbs up to Audi. This one great looking car... :thumb:

I was under the impression that Americans didn't like wagons, that seems to be true for not only Audi but for BMW too.
