Defined as not just screw on covers on the OEM black plastic/(dare I type) rubber pedals.

This is for everyone...US, EU, AU, etc.
How maybe people have them?
Do you like them over the factory OEM black plastic/rubber pedals?

I know that Nene has them and has a DIY written up and will use that if/when I make the change.

I have seen them on ECS and OEMPlus, any other sites?

The reason/need is that I have slipped off the brake pedal more than once and not where my shoes/soles were wet and quite frankly, It was a panicked moment!

I know the feeling, but only when my shoes have been slippery...so far...

I don't know how large your feet are, but I drove James' car after he installed the plus pedals, and my feet no longer fit between the brake and the trans tunnel. The plus pedals are a bit larger than the originals, and I don't know about you, but getting my gunboats stuck under the brake and pinned on the accelerator is a lot scarier to me then slipping off the brake.

IIRC, he had those custom painted to match the RS6 logo...

I have the RS6+ pedals from OEM plus and I do like them. Can't believe we didn't get them originally. My '01 tt has the aluminum rubber pedals. They add a touch of class and I find they give good grip when wet. They are only slightly larger than the rubber, and I mean slightly. They are easy to heel and toe. By that I mean all three, dead pedal, brake pedal, and throttle assembly. The throttle pedal is a complete assembly with the throttle by wire complete assemby, not just a snap on aluminum pedal.

does the new throttle need to "learn" or is it plug/play?

Plug/play- I have them and like them over the OEM. Mainly- I like the cosmetics over the plain black.

My solution for not slipping off the pedal- Wear golf shoes-..;0

I didn't notice any new learning going on Ben, the parts OEM plus are selling were OEM Audi and were just plug & play.

One other option is found here http://www.rs6.com/showthread.php/7195-Pedals....?p=49894&highlight=#post49894 . The pedals from Ultimate Pedals are easy to install, have great grip even with wet soles, and look good.

I have em...love em. The accelerator pedal is tough to get plugged back in correctly. You need to remove the lower console kick panel to get it in right....at least thats what I remember. I put mine in a LONG time ago..they dead pedal does get scratched up pretty good.

Ah, the good times of modding...
http://www.htms.org/pedals.html

Well, two weekends ago I removed the front bumper and installed a set of new European OEM headlights. It was a lot of fun. Had not done any mods in over 3 years.
Looking for my next one, maybe the Sportec cooling system.

So true JS....So true.

I did the headlight swap myself. I've done it a few times in the past without removing bumper. First time was to remove the lights and get the clear corner mod done.
This time however, I wanted to do it differently, because I saw how easy it was to remove the bumper, and wanted to try it.
I used the information on one of the DIY that is on this site:
Removing Bumper (http://www.rs6.com/showthread.php/18725-DIY-Test-Fix-intercooler-leaks-w-bumper-removal-procedure?highlight=diy)

Did it one Saturday afternoon.

Sure man. It's the 18th of June. We are starting promptly at 9 this time, doesn't mean you have to be there, but I will.
