The test more highlights just how fantastic the GT-R is as a car and a bargain. The Lexus has been noted in reviews for lacking low-down torque, that's a characteristic that a buyer would have to live with - but it's also been noted for the crazy exhaust note (worth the price of admission!), amazing high-end power, great turn-in and handling...75mph through the slalom! Regardless, its track numbers rank it "up there" with the ambiguous groups we'd call supercars. It beat a GT2 RS through the quarter... http://blogs.insideline.com/straightline/2011/04/il-track-tested-2012-lexus-lfa-vs-2011-porsche-911-gt2-rs.html

The GT-R beat it off the line with all-wheel drive and a decent degree of low-end torque. At $90K, it's stunning

The GT2 RS had something wrong with a wheel-speed sensor. It's generally an 11.0@130 car.

GTR vs LFA

Its amazing to think that only a different prefix separates the description of these two cars.

GTR = Biggest over-achiever at it's price.
LFA = Biggest un-achiever at it's price.
