I welcome it if its a option.
Some of todays cars are begining to be so powerfull that 2wd cant get the power down.

All this proves is that they all are finally admitting that Audi were right all these years. :hihi:

P.S.
Adding AWD does not make it a quattro. :nono:

I bet those divas over on the BMW forums like Bimmerpost, M5board and Germancarforum are shitting themselves right about now. Not only have M-Division built an M SUV but they've dropped hi-revving N/A engine for turbo power and are now finally admitting AWD is necessary. :hihi:

New M5 will offer AWD as an option. Looks like BMW will now change their slogan to "Never Lead". Just thought it was interesting.

BTW, the new RS6 looks like it will be much lighter than the F10 M5, weird huh?

Edit: Looks like i'm behind the curve here. Threads now merged.

I'm not surprised, only that it might come sooner than expected.

We all know what their current x-drive is like, good but only up to a point and too dim-witted to truly shine in a performance application. Even the might X5M is shown a clean pair of heels against the Cayenne Turbo. The same will be true if/when they offer an M3 or M5 with such a system.

Not only that but both will weigh more than the RS equivalent, so not only will it be beat in the corners but also off the line too.

Do something with that boot lid and tail lights and it almost looks OK. ;)

I thought it looked kind of like a Hyundai Sonata. Can't beat Audi for performance AND styling.
