Quick KW V3 Question: Rear has large black plastic washer on it.

The Rear Strut has a large black plastic washer on the upper rod. Does this stay?

I think I installed the plastic washer on my KW's but with the boot on I can't tell for sure. If it is just a thin washer it probably really doesn't matter but I would install it as it may be just enough to keep the piston from bottoming and can't hurt.
