EBC Red or Yellow

I am looking to buy some new EBC Red or Yellow brake pads, I read from thepartsbin.com that yellow is meant for racing. I don't race but are they better than reds?

My guess is that anything qualified for racing situations can handle street situations the same or better.
The price difference is less than $20 for front and rear set.

What is your opinion on what to get.

Depends on how hard you drive your Beast. I got 25K out of a set of Reds and they were fairly easy on the Rotors. I did toast them a little on a couple of hard twisty running with a couple of cars down by where I live. They are better in most respects to OEM and dust much less. Now if you drive your car harder the Yellows are just as easy on the Rotors, better at higher heat, but the do dust as much as stock pretty much.
