So it's 20 degrees, snow, slush, salt, dirty.....poor so cal car, I just hate to see my my beast in such a state. I got the bright idea to install a hot water line in the garage. 2 hours later, bingo....piping hot water, spray the beast off good, body, wheel wells, bye,bye salt.....

Now just get an electric pressure washer and your set! Then you can mount an automatic winding airhose reel for the hose and your really set!

I am assuming the garage was or is heated so as all the hot water was evaporated? :)

Hahaha, no Ben, I washed her out in the bitter cold.....drove her back in, and then spread some salt on driveway where black ice formed.

well you could have an unheated garage and use a leaf blower to "dry her hair off"

75 and sunny today. Golf first thing then over to Russo Steele to stand next to a 1.5 million dollar hemi cuda convert as the hammer dropped. There was some 93 Jaguar. EL500 or something that was drop dead awesome. I need to research that bad boy. Can't wait to get back home and get the beast out in this weather. Miss it

It got down to 15 last night on our way back from dc. That cold air sure does wonders for oil and water temps.

Also, here's a pic of the setup I use. Pressure washer, hose reel, and a refurbished ringer-washer (great for washing chamois' and ringing them out as they get wet)
