hello, just wondering what a good asking price would be in this market. 03 rs6, blk/blk, 53k miles, all maintenance performed(next one is 55k) at local audi dealer, all options except carbon fiber and blk tip exhaust syst., no accidents, exterior 7-8 out of 10, interior 8-9 of 10. thanks

The 55k service is a big one. TB service. Is the car warranteed? That makes big diff on value. Ones that I have seen with that mileage on auto trader run low 30k's.

I thought TB was @ 35k and 70k??

35/75 is

Engine Oil / Oil Filter– Change oil and replace the oil filter (Caution: RS 6 uses
only oil fulfilling the VW 50501 specifications and with the viscosity 5W40)

• Cooling System – Check the coolant level. Add coolant if necessary.

• Exhaust System – Check for damage and leaks. (Visual inspection)

• Doors – Lubricate door hinge mechanism.

• Battery – Check electrolyte level. Add if necessary

• Windshield Wiper and Washer / Headlight washer – Check adjustment and
function. Add fluid if necessary.

• Tires and Spare Wheel – Check for wear and damage. Check the pressure.
Check renewal date of the tire repair set (where applicable). Exchange tire seal
solution. (If expired)

• Service Reminder Indicator Display – Reset the display.

• Brake system – Check for damage and leaks. Check thickness of pads and
brake fluid level. (Visual inspection)

• Drive Shafts – Check the boots. (Visual inspection)

• Lights – Check all lights. Check Headlight adjustment.

• Front Axle – Check dust seals on ball joints and tie rod ends. Check tie rods.

• Automatic Transmission and Final Drive – Check for leaks. (Visual inspection)

The extended warranty helps.

Given your exterior and interior condition and fairly low mileage you could hold out for 28k. You may end up taking 26k for the car or just a tad less. It all depends on the buyer and how picky he/she is for condition.

Am I the only one that thinks that a warranty co. by the name of "wheels warranty" sounds kind of tacky? Now replace the "S" with a "Z", and that's just plain over the top funny.

No offense but being that it is Mass., was the car used winters? Just the fact of salted roads there.

i am the second owner, and use the vehicle daily regardless of weather condition. first owner probably did the same since he to is from mass. but vehicle was and still is garaged daily and i wash it after every week to keep sand and salt off. vehicle still looks great considering the age, paint still shines after each wash. i also have the vehicle professionally detailed after each winter.
