Hi all

Have discovered tuning! Got the Miltek catback exhaust and an ECU remap/flash not quite sure what to call it. Made a huge differerence and I was very sceptical before having it done. No more "gulp" when I do a fourth to third or third to second for a gear change into a corner. In a "why stop now" thought, am getting light weight forged wheels and track tyres for it as well. Got the ceramic brakes already so they are great. Would love to hear anyone else's experiences with the V10 RS6 around a track. And, I had a very good go around the track whilst it was completely stock, with absobutely no problems, so hopefully I will not be troubling the warranty.

Hi all

Oh sigh, everyone must be either trapped in America deprived of the v10 RS6 or watching ancient DVDs of grand prix races, or maybe the Fast and the Furious? Nothing wrong with any of that. But please, if anyone has any experience, good, bad, or whatever, of the V10 RS6, please write it up here. From my experience, it is truly an amazing car, can't image what Audi could bring out to trump it.

I understand the feeling. The people I know that own RS6 V10 and tune aren't any forum people (wrong generation), too busy and most don't track their cars.

To this date none of my friends have had any issues with their MTM tunes, and they're putting out around 730-740 hp (dynoed).

One thing to watch out for is the increased grip, heavy weight of your car, the load index of the tires and braking.

IF the C6 RS6 avant/saloon were imported to the US (not just Mexico) and not to say/suggest that the US forum members drive this forum, I would think there would be some more feeling/suggestions/issues/praises/kills/etc.

I was all set and ready to order a new one from an Audi dealership in Mexico but they ceased C6 RS6 production already. Guess I might as well wait for the C7 RS6 at this point. :hihi:

Yep, I wonder if a single Mexican C6 RS6 was ever even sold...

Anyone have the C6 RS6 production numbers?

Watch your DRC, Grizz who's a renowned RS specialist in the UK had his DRC go after 400 miles on his new C6:(

DRC not an inherent problem thus far. Grizz's car is the only one that I know of.

@ $132k USD for the Saloon
@ $136k USD for the Avant

I'm gonna say no unless it is one of the Cartels down there that needs to get somewhere quick but then again, HOT LEAD goes quicker...

Where'd you get those prices from?

Just on the DRC, mine Ok thus far. Gave it a really good go before changing anything. Am very aware of the issue on the V8.

About a year ago, when I was poking around on Audi.com website looking for C6 RS6 but nothing in/on Canada or US.
Then thought about Audi Mexico and found www.audi.com.mx and ran the configurator for the RS6.
Up popped both the saloon and avant with the base pricing, then the configurator allowed very few options (rims and ceramic rotors and exterior/interior color combos).

Ironically, there was several in stock and one or two C5 RS6 Avants...

I still like Dave's idea of the shipping container with 3-4 C5/C6 RS6 Avants...
