I have the OEM 5 spoke 19s in titanium finish from the Euro '04 RS6+ and LOVE THEM. Imported them through Europrice years ago. Expensive as hell (I paid over $700ea back then...near $1K now each) but worth it to me to be one of one as a ton of RS6s in Chicago. I have had them for over 4 years. Had to have two of them fixed for slight bends from bad Chicago pot hole hits but i would call them rather strong. I have heard the replicas are not so strong.

wow that's pretty spendy. Discount Tires has the set (Replica's) for 600.00. Did you experince any rubbing or have to get spacers of any kind? How was the ride hight effected? Did the car seem "raised"?
Thanks,

The key is the offset for the reps. You need to match the OEM specs, I'm not 100% sure the reps do but DT should be able to help you there. No spacers the OEMs sit perfect. DT will not install spacers anyway. The height looks fine, I feel they fill the wheel well better than the 18s. Looks way better to me. No rubbing but depends on the tire. I have Michelin PS2s and it takes a very unique version of it that does not have the inside wheel protector lip. If that lip is there the fronts will rub on the suspension. I have not tried other tires but others years ago said they had no issues with other brands. If you do a search here I posted the tire info long ago for the right Michelins. The ride is noticeably worse obviously with the lower profile tires...its almost a relief to put the 18s on for winter with our crappy roads.

Is there another 'replica euro-RS6' wheel other than Hartmann's? Who makes the $600 set you mentioned KSol?

Hartmann's are the right size : 19x9" with a 35mm offset. They are about a grand.

I'm not sure though any 19" rim with a low profile tire is strong enough not to bend after hitting a pothole.

Discount tire does have some if you put in the car in 19" they are made in China and some in Italy. Get to know your DT manager to get the Italian ones. Besides hartman these aren't bad either... just about got some for my TT from here.
