My Indy shop has the car now, and they replaced the seals the body shop didn't when they replaced the a/c condenser. So the system now holds a vacuum. But now they can't get the pump to turn on...any suggestions?

Not sure how knowledgeable they are about A/C systems but until the system has a full charge, or close to it, the compressor will not turn on due to the low pressure switch. The compressor clutch needs to be jumped to 12+ to get it going to charge, it can probably be done somewhere along the wire or at the relay. This is basic A/C 101 so I would imagine they would know that?
