OEM IC question

I bought na second set of IC's that turns out the seller described that some tabs had been grinded off, they were used on an allroad. He sent me a pic of another IC showing which tabs were grinded off-w/o these tabs is it a problem?

Those are used to mount the coolant tubes coming from the axillary radiators. They should be fine, you'll just have to zip-tie the hose up some other way. If I remember correctly, the wagner kit doesn't have these brackets either.

Made in Portugal.....not Germany?....stock IC's that I got back after installing wagners, bench tested and leaked like sieve. Made in portugal - bah
