Other than the two screws at either side of top part of panel, what else is there?

You need to remove the window switches as well or you risk pulling out the wiring. To do so, you need to take a small phillips #1 and just push the switches out from the bottom. There is an access hole under the front part of the arm rest. You will need to push pretty firmly and you'll see the switch assembly start to lift out. You can then grab it from the top and remove the plug.
