This isn't good, I'm sure my EW will do everything they can not to replace these. I did clear the DTC's and will see if the EGT comes back (N145 comes back immediately).

Clear the codes. See if they return.

I just went through EGT replacement....Fidelity covered it....if its out, you'll know...boost will be restricted

Looks like it is reading fine at idle and when reving (compared to bank 2), I will monitor it. The SO has been stealing, I mean driving it, so I am not sure when it threw the code

Being that the EGT code was listed as "Intermittent" then it is hard to tell how soon it may return. I had an EGT come up on Bank 1 Intermittent over a year ago and has not returned since an I run Vagcom on my car at least once a month. The more counts it gets the more chance at a full failure I would imagine.
