103,000 miles and 7 plus years, and I finally lost a bulb! Well two bulbs really.

The driver's side brake light died, took 27.2 seconds to replace. But I noticed after that one of the fog lights is out also, and removing that liner looks a bit more challenging.

Anyone have any insight on how to remove that liner in the trunk lid to get at the fog lights??

Thanks,

Mike

1. Remove the "fuzzy" screws around the edge of the liner.
2. Pop off the inner trunk release handle cover and remove.
3. There are I believe two screws in the inner trunk handle.
4. Remove the warning triangle and holder.
5. Remove liner.

The screw face is coated with "fuzz" so as to blend in with the "carpet". No problem, I took all that mess off to route the rear laser "sensor"...

Done!

two fuzzy screws (one in each corner)
two none-fuzzy screws in handle
two none-fuzzy screws on the holder for the emergency triangle.
one none-fuzzy torques screw under the glow-in-the-dark part of the release handle
multiple none-fuzzy clips.

:)

replaced both bulbs, even though by the time I had the cover off and checked to be sure which bulb was out, BOTH WORKED! LOL..
