Soe she is at mechanics, Audi tech, Phil detailers domain recommended....good price, read some other posts...well in middle of TB/75k service, found a broken motor mount:vgrumpy:

Hmm, kind of common, no biggie. I seem to remember them costing about $180 a piece though.

wrong face, i'm not angry, vag didnt produce anything, so that is a blessing, and she drives great, so not worried.....would engine of vibrated w/ broken mount?

Its at the mechanic now.

Hard to say if the engine would have vibration. Depends on the extent of the crack.

Its at mechanics now, as Dave reiterated. i asked about vibration, because this happened on my Bronco(yes old71') and there was vibration. I guess I was curious why I didnt notice anything. But in pic he sent, the rubber looks as if its torn from base? btw at work so i cant post it

Sounds like it's not "broken", the boot is torn and the fluid has leaked out. So there wouldn't be any vibrations until the mount fails from lack of fluid.

hahhaaa...mechanic called me audi warehouse in texas, wont have part till friday, I looked on genuine and there are several mounts, I am a little confused, hahnmgh63 can u copy link for me pls?

ahhh u are correct....ty, ordered, but dont know if they have part or not, cant call them. Ordered to overnight ship, cant get car back until he gets part

Oh, that's the snub mount, thus no engine mount solenoid DTC. That wouldn't cause a vibration problem.

Wow, the snub mount is more than the normal mounts!
