My car: owned since new, stock save items in my sig. My warranty coverage: Drivetrain only for another 3.5 yrs

If I wanted to blow $2500, should I consider to:

- Chip ECU and TCU

or

- Install Milltek cat-back and TCU chip (only)

or ??

I'm somewhat timid about ECU chip.

For those who have chipped TCU but not ECU, are you pleased with the modest investment?

TIA

Well i am going to plug myself here as well (Sorry)

I have OCT tuned ECU and TCU for sale, for way less than you are looking to spend.

So you could buy mine and Milltek and get best of both worlds

And BTW the best thing I have done to the car, is ECU/TCU chips. And would never go back

What is your mileage? ~100k?

Has the torque converter been changed? if so at what mileage?

What is the best price for Milltek catback? TCU + Milltek is a great package.

If you flash the ECU...make sure it can be converted back to stock if the situation ever called for it.

If you're still running the original TC then I would not upgrade the ECU. You are running on borrowed time for the TC. If the TC has been replaced...then I would consider the ECU+TCU(MTM for the TCU)

I will say this. OCT makes a good package.

You will need to VIN code the ECU but you will have your stock ECU to swap in if the need ever came up. If you have two vin coded ECUs...you can swap them back and forth like hot ladies without further recoding.

This is not a bad idea. The ladies or the ECU's +1

Yokust deal sounds good to me. Provided it fits within your budget. ECU-TCU and Non Res Milltek Catback, The Ultimate combination. You'll smile every time you stand on it...........................

Ok

I agree with elevens. ECU+TCU+non res Milltek is all you could ever ask for in a RS6.

You have the TC changed....I would consider Yokust's package of ECU+TCU and then go buy the Milltek catback.

Go for it.

No ECU modding done for me and I like the TCU chip. I do someday want a tune though.

I say yokust's deal + muffler delete + milltek tips for 250. Then drink beer
