Whats is the diffrent between the RS4 & S4?

why is it that the S4 only has 340 bhp, while the RS4 has 420bhp.
even thought they both have the same engine.
is there any possible way to get more horsepower out of the S4.,
so you can get equavilent or more power then and RS4.
if so how.

there are not at all the same engines. almost all of it is different....

There are big differences between the S4 and RS4. The RS4 has a high-revving version of the 4,2 V8 and the engine itself is very different. If you are looking for the same horspower in an S4, turbo or supercharger is the way to go. A tuning-company can help you with that if there is interest, MTM for example.

And not to forget, S4 and RS4 are to very diffenrent cars in other things than the engine as well...
