I came across a thread on audizine regarding air outlets u fabbed under your engine. Looks pretty easy to do, seems like it makes sense for providing outflow of heated IC air.

Yep, there it is. There's a crudely drawn template in there and everything. I noticed a 15-20 drop in oil temps under hard driving this summer due to this vent.

That's great, some free time I plan on it....if I have read right the lower cover comes off , including screws in wheel wells?

Correct, there are 10 metal 1/4 turn screws on the underside of the pan, and 2 large plastic 1/4 turn screws in each wheel well attaching the lower pan to the fender liners.
