Old school trick my biker father-in-law taught me. When it's stuck, just punch a big flathead screwdriver straight through it and get it turning.

I now have BND fluids in tranny and engine. Brian sent my the oil and I had said that I do not need a filter, but he sent one anyway. I had a MANN filter on hand and here are some visual comparisons:

Gasket blocking 50% flow of the exit holes on Mann filter. Looking at it closely, I guess it's designed that way. Seems like a needless flow impedance, but I'm no fluid dynamicist.

Nevermind. I see how the Mann filter is designed now. I am a moron.
I stand by my screwdriver stabbing tip though.
