Absolutely nothing directly related to an RS6 in this post but worth the $14.95

Ok, so I was in my coworkers VW Jetta TDI wagon to go to lunch and he gets a nail in the front right.
Like a kook, he pulls it out and ppsssfffsstttt!!!

So out comes the full size spare, off with the caps, up goes the jack, etc, etc
Time to hang the spare on, he doesn't have the ECS bolt hanger.
What a Cluster F@#$ it was... I was laughing while he was swearing. :lovl:

Moral of the story:

In exactly that same pinch in the past I used the screwdriver from the toolkit to line up the top hole. Of course, don't be a gorilla with it and mash the threads in there, but makes it a bit less awkward to wrestle with.

Doesn't the jack kit come with a plastic one of these?

It's not really that hard. Line up the rotor with the threaded hole and put on the wheel, lining up one of the bolt holes to the threaded hole. Have one bolt in your hand and ready. Dun

I have never used the bolt tool. Never had a problem with wheel installs.

Yeah, yeah, I can change out a damn wheel, too. There is no plastic guide stud in a VW, and I'm referring to using the screwdriver as a guide in the dark, in the snow, on the gravel, three beers in, with cars wizzing past two feet away. Not optimal conditions.
