I know Audi's in general have long history of sunroof issues....how about RS6? I opened mine today about halfway for a bit then went to close it, and the rotary knob didn't do anything...wouldn't open it further and wouldn't close it...after a few minutes, I was able to close it by pushing on the knob (the part used for tilt function) and that did the job

have others had sunroof issues?

Yep- About a year ago, my sunroof occassionaly would not move when the switch position was changed. I'd then change it to another position and it would move. Turned out to be the switch. The switch was replaced and it resolved the issue.

The dealer wants $196 to replace the switch in my RS6. The warranty covered it so I had them do it. I'll have part numbers when I pick the car up around lunch time if you are interested.

I thought I was the probelm until the Service Tech tried it. The switch has been funky for my entire ownership of about 1 year an 5k miles.
