Brake Lights come on by themselves - haunted?

For two nights running I have shut the garage door tucked my baby in for the night and in the morning come into the garage and the brake lights are on. I tap the brake pedal and they go off. I have the LED tails but they have been on for over a year and worked fine, no indicator lights or any issues. Note from when I park to when I shut the door is ~ 3 hrs.

Any clue? Gremlins?

The brake pedal switch is a known weakness in all of the Audi's from 2000- on. I changed mine a while back and there should be a couple of threads in the archives. Someone mentioned that there were two different switches so I pulled mine and took the part # off of it to order. It was also mentioned that you should be able to look at the one you want and tell the type as I guess they look a lot different if you find one of the websites like www.worldimpex.com (http://www.worldimpex.com) that show pics of most of the parts.
