View Full Version : Outside air temperature incorrect

The reading of the temperature outside on my dash sometimes seems to be off. When it is below say 75 degrees, it seems accurate. When it is above, it sometimes reads 10-15 degrees hotter than what it is outside. The car doesn't need to be sitting in the sun for this to happen.

Do others have this problem? Any idea where it is taking the temperature from?

Thanks,
Chris

I have seen 130 on mine.

Take a look at where the sensor nipple is located. Can I say nipple? Oh hell, nipple tit whatever.

I will explore for the sensor, but do you have any idea where it is located?
