#1....Has anyone pro-actively changed their TC to the 'new and improved' version before symptoms arose? An expensive proposition if not (yet) warranted...no doubt/arguement there.

#2...Has anyone that did have a new OEM TC put in ever have it fail again? Yikes, 2 times the expense of R&R !?

My TC is being replaced this week (almost done I hope) after I stumbled on the TC failure code without any CEL or signs of failure.

My warranty company covered the replacement and I have been told it's a 'new design'.

Who knows is that's true or BS.

I'd like Qish or Erik to chime in with Secret Information directly from Audi in the Fatherland!
