Except it's not. The car is clean, but the badging is BS. Small thing to note, but it's silver, not Avus. That was my first tip-off. There are about 30 other things, but you get my drift.

Hmmm, just a wild guess, but with everything from medical care to mortgages being socialized, even a crack shack of a house costs almost a million dollars. Doesn't leave much room for an RS in the garage. And red paint! That was below the belt :)

Ya, a sold them to a member here on the board in San Diego. They might not have been what you were looking for though. They had just been freshly refinished, and had brand new 255 PS2's on them, so I wanted top dollar.

It's my OEM RS6 wheels for sale. Frank has contacted me about them, Ive been trying to reply back from last week but his PM box is full. Im trying to sell mine with tires, but people are trying to rip me off. I dont need to get rid of them any time soon, so worse case scenario Ill just refinish them and sell for more. Granted the wheels aren't in the best condition and need refinished unless they are winter wheels, but the tires are alsmot brand new. If you see this Frank send me a PM on audizine. This is eurotuned_a4 in case you forgot.

It was 90 models released to Canada in 2004. I'm no expert, but the fact that the cars had to meet stricter vehicle crash standards than the US meant that Audi of North America had to modify the base model RS6 to the tune of $20K CDN. That pushed the sell price for all 90 of those cars to just over 140K CDN.... You don't sell all that many cars in that price range.

You experts out there also all well remember that the RS6 was banned from import until just over 2 years ago - right? It was June 2008 when Canada's Department of Transportation harmonized their bumper standards to the lesser standard of the US and the European community. Prior to that date the only way you could own/enjoy an RS6 was to pony up a host of $$. That is of course IF you could find one for sale. I searched for a Canadian issue '04 RS6 for 13 months and there was only one available for sale in that period of time and it was here in Calgary. That was November 07 and it sold at the BMW dealership for a cool $91K CDN....

I can only suspect that the gaffer from Montreal is a fan of the styling queues of the RS6 and since he couldn't get through the red tape of the CDN Gov't, opted to do what he felt was the next best closest thing.
