Greetings,
I am moving to Lemoore, CA. which is about 4 hours from LA in a few weeks. Has anyone ever done business with or now anything about OE Tuning and Gintani which are sister companies in LA? I meet a tuner who seemed to know a whole lot about Audi's and specifically RS6's last weekend at the HIN/NOPI supershow. He said he used to work for OE tuning in LA. He seemed very knowledgeable about the tuning of these cars. He told me that all of the generic ECU/TCU flashes that you can buy are basically crap ie APR, GIAC, and MTM. They do give you some pretty good power gains, but all they do is raise the boost levels. In order to really unlock the potential of the car, you must change the fuel map, and only a custom tune on a for your specific car will do that. I am planning on taking my RS6 to these guys in a few weeks once I get settled in California. Any thoughts on OE Tuning or Gintani?
