Drove a couple friends from central Wisconsin to Detroit Michigan this weekend so one of them could pick up his 1995 Ford Escort RS Cosworth he just purchased. This was my first big road trip in the RS6 since i bought it and, despite several traffic jams, the miles never flew so fast. I've got a renewed appreciation for the RS6, as do several other drivers that we met up with on the highways of Michigan including a new 2010 Camaro that could quite keep up. Also ran into several Porsche, an RS4, and a Noble M12 but due to traffic wasn't able to see how they'd stack up. The Cosworth does has the RS6 beat in cool factor if you ask me (and probably in handling) so I'd say they came out dead even in the end. :hihi:

Did you know that your Audi is a Cosworth powered machine as well?

The previous owner had a fairly large collection and was a big Audi enthusiast. As a matter of fact i wouldnt be surprised if someone here was familiar with Francois's cars (he did have a couple RS6 posters in his shop. He was nice enough to show us his collection while we were there. Here's a link to his site...

This particular one was imported to North America through a company called Sun International when it was new. It has a new VIN issued by the company along with several badges and plates stating its been modified to comply with emissions standards in 95. The title for the vehicle actually says it's a Sun International something instead of a Ford.

Do you have 17" wheels on the RS6? They look small.

What!? My wife said it's a good size!! :hihi:

Nah they're the stock 18's with 255/40 tires. I see what you mean though, in the pic it's a funny angle.
