Do you have extended warrantee past 100,000? Mine runs out at 104,000...

Where's your 140mph odometer pic?

I think I was putting along at 60mph... not quite as vigorous as MaxRS6... should I turn my RS6 in for a 510 Datsun?

My car is coming up on 88K...so 100K is a few years off prolly for me...

But I'm seriously encouraged to hear others have kept their cars and piled on the miles. My 'other' C5 has 161K...I've sunk too much money into it that I must keep it (not complaining btw). I have a feeling this car will be the same type of deal (still not complaining 8-) ).

Is there a company that would warranty this car (tranny) after 100K?

My current extended warranty runs out at 104,000.

I spoke with the dealer and I am picking up another 2 year 24,000 mile warranty but they only offer the Powertrain Product $2800, or the Silver Product $3400. I'm getting the Silver (covers the air conditioner LOL, I just bet that it requires a GD engine pull to fix that LOL).

So I'll have coverage for the transmission, engine, turbos, etc until my car is fully paid off.

I generally found out the same above type of pricing after my warranty expired at 111K. However; the ones I located had general caps on each category (i.e. 3K max payout for engine issues, 3K max payout for tranny issue). Therefore; it looked like if I shelled out 3K, I might be able to recover 6K (if the motor and tranny crapped out). The 3K of potential extra coverage wasn't worth it to me for the hassle dealing with a warranty company on issues.

Mike:
Are you getting the above coverage with no caps for coverage?

It's a policy right from the Audi Dealer. There is no mention of any caps on coverage for the 'covered items.'

Isn't the 216k RS6 from 10SecS4, the current owner of the RS600?

Bigglez,

Car has a fully documented service history with all maintenance except for that occuring over the past year conducted by Audi or Porsche dealerships. It's NOT pristine by any stretch, but it's decent given mileage. I drive the Audi year round through snow, salt, and rocks, so don't need a garage queen. Already have a pair of those with my NSX and GNX. Service history for the car is in excess of 42K over a 6 year period with a large portion of regular - and not so regular - items replaced. Has had tranny and turbos replaced. Still appears to be on original DRC however and remains leak free... I can certainly post a list, but don't believe there is anything that would be on that list that aren't already on numerous other forum members list of repairs for cars with half the mileage or less.

Correct. Strong runner for sure. Surprises the hell out of a host of people (including owners of Vipers, Z06's, M5's, Vantage's, etc.). I love the stealthiness of our beloved rides. Devil in sheeps clothing. :)
