I have contacted the member and waiting for his response. Depending on the outcome there could be more personal details of the scammer exposed.

Bottom line - BEWARE! We allow For Sale posts here, but it's up to you, individual members, to make the call if to buy or avoid.

He was also banned member "rs-mad". If you guys check my posts, I always ask the location of anyone selling from an unknown location. If it's Australia, THE DEAL IS OFF!

It's a manual thing, I've spent 30+ minutes on this today already. But yes, it is possible to ip track each individual but I'm not sure what it would give, as you would have to keep a database for it (sort of) seperately.

Also, what we discussed (my reply) was that everyone here should put their location up. This is an international forum, and sometimes someone will ask to buy a car but noone knows if it's in Japan, USA, AU, EU or Mexico.

Unfortunately people like "Jordan Vlotis" have given sellers from Australia a bad name. :(

Bottom line is - there are scammers here and there. Beware and think before buying or sending money or parts!

EDIT: Back at that time I was giving the guy the benefit of the doubt because there was a legitimate member by the name of RS650, and I got the two confused. I would assume it was no accident that he chose that name.
