I'm a new RS6 owner:jlol: and am interested in learning as much as I possibly can about the car. I'm a tinkerer, but not a mechanic, so i'm not going to be doing any of the work myself, though I'd like to know as much as i can for when its time to talk to my mechanic.

I've read through this forum (as well as quattro) the best I can. In addition to the regular manual the car comes with, what other documentation should I get hold of?

I found this:

http://www.s4-mtm.com/images/RS6-C6StudyGuide.pdf

and was wondering if it was worth buying (or if anyone had a free site) the formal repair manual? anything else?

That's a pretty nice find, but between this forum and your owners manual you should be covered.

Hi pierson and welcome. Thanks for the find.

As a matter of fact the RS6 study gide pdf is available from the RS6 ftp as well. It was posted back in early 2000 something :D so I can't remember the address but it should be findeable via the search engine as well
