um, well, I guess it is time to change the cabin air filter...

It may not be as bad as you think if it was a Charcoal filter to begin with. If it wasn't a Charcoal filter then yes, it is very dirty.

I remember getting a new one once and thinking I'd just wasted my money when it looked the same as the old one - not white.

all that was on the side of it was HEPA and an ARROW, nothing else...

It's what you can't see that is the problem...the bad odor....Change It!

You could vacuum it off, and spray with Fabrize (and ride alone).

There was dog hair and leafs in there, you can see one...
Smelled like musty wet dog after a rain/wash.

I don't own a dog..... 2 betas and 2 Buff Orpingtons and 1 Rhode Island Red that is actually black...

HEPA sounds like the charcoal version. Probably time to change anyways.

Open the engine hood. Along the top of the firewall is a long (4ft+) black plasitic shroud. It is just under the shroud on the passenger-side. 3 minute job at the most......
