Car had 84k on it

Trans and torque convertor are good

Seats are all good

Exhaust is SE

I am keeping my suspension, and all the brakes. And all my after market parts

Hmm, I'm at a loss. It's not very often you get a chance to buy parts off of a totaled RS6, but I can't think of what could be left of your car that's in better condition than mine. How's the climate control unit? Are the buttons all in good shape. The previous owner of my car liked to claw at the + and - buttons and wore the soft touch coating off of them.

Awwww...I've been beaten to the punch on the +/- buttons. What about the trim piece that surrounds the head light switch? The previous owner clawed that away on mine as well. Did the secondary air injection solenoid make it? I think I just figured out mine is toast. Also...odd request but the cigarette lighters...both of them. I've got two empty holes where mine are suppose to be...front and back. I don't smoke but it bugs me. PM me if you are willing to part with any of these pieces. Any luck in the search for one of the same color?

So update on trans and tq for people that are interested in it.

Pulled the motor/trans out today and found parts and shipping tags on the trans. Did some research thru carfax and dealer accounts.

The complete trans/tq was replaced at 58k at Star VW/Audi dealer in Clarksburg, West Virginia

The carbon trim is now available $1000 (dash one has cracks in clear from accident, a-pillars smashed together)

H-sport sway bars $350 (were only on car for 6months)

Custom downpipes $600 (gutted precats, and v-banded at flex joint, test pipes made, have flanges for main cats but I never got around to welding them back on yet, never needed them)

The hood surprisingly did survive with only a few scrathes by the drivers side grille area. I know shipping that beast would be $$$$$$ even though its light the box it would need to go into would be huge in order to keep it safe.

But I have ordered a set of sport quattro aluminum louvers and was going to see what I might do with it.

Yes cluster is just fine, but I am not going to seperate the glass from the rest if thats what you were asking

It was cracked in one spot is why I swapped them, I would need to see if I held onto the other one also. I am sure I did, but it is somewhere in my storage garage mess of one disassembled car

Was just needing a standard one cos mine has an error. Mine is mapped too, thankfuly the fault doesn't affect the car at a but it does light up the EML and only fix is a new one! "check sum error' that my tuner has tried to fix but its embedded and can't be written out. If I can source one then its just a case of copying the map over and getting it to plug and play as I think there is security bedded in so simple swapping and the car wont start.

Prob best left for someone who needs both and wants a remap.

More than likely your check-sum error is a result of your tuner using the wrong base file on your tune. It should be pretty easily overcome.

We spent a whole day trying to get it out but nothing worked. Was in and out the car a few times but no joy. Any advice on what we can try would be appreciated. Not wanting to gatecrash this thread though so apologies for that. LIght goes out with vagcom and can do any length of journey and it stays off but the next time its started it comes back.

How about interior rear door trim? Specifcally, I am looking for the long skinny trim piece on each door that sits above the leather/door handle part and surrounds the wood/carbon trim and the speaker/latch...hope that makes sense...assuming this is one entire piece that comes off

it is the kinda hard-vinyl trim that runs length of window right above leather inserts....someone installed the sun shades on my car themselves and botched the hole drilling for the mounting posts...sooo, I have extra holes in the trim piece that surrounds the carbon fiber/wood on top of each door

Its on the door, has the buttons STOP, M, 1, 2, and 3. Mine isnt bad, i want to replace it for cosmetic reasons. Have you never messed with the memory function?

Mine is bad....none of the buttons light up at night and they dont work....haven't taken time to figure out if bad connection in door panel or something else....
