12k miles, carbon fiber trim, warm weather package. Owened by a collector in Dallas. Paid a rich fee for a Fidelity Platinum coverage warranty. 3/36.

Love the car so far. Miss having a manual trans. My first real car was an 01 Audi S4. Since then I've owned a 92' 911 Turbo S2 (still have it), a 96' 993 Twin Turbo, an 04' M3 and a V-10 TDI Touareg. This car is a beast. Torque in that diesel was something special.

was this the one listed on eBay for $41K or so? I had called about that one.

What did you pay for the extended warranty?

It might have been. Not familiar with the listing on ebay. Was that car in Dallas? If so - yes.

Garland, TX (Dallas effectively)

Over the phone they wanted $41K, looked nice... didn't want to pay the premium on the low mileage though. Love the carbon fiber trim...

Yep, saw a Silver one today.
He was trying to BOOST away from me :)
Not to say that I was WOT, just pleasantly requesting my own BOOST. :)
Not sure he knew what the RS6 BEAST was.....

Forgot to add that the car has the sound enhancing exhaust as well. A $950 option

I'll take and post pics this weekend. Hitting Urban Speed in Houston. It apparently has been GIAC flashed as well.

This is the one that had a picture of the flashloader in the trunk -- correct?

Ah yes, this must have been the Ebony/silver Texas car. Great color combo I might add, in fact I was looking for this very combination when I was shopping for an RS6. In the end I decided to save myself the brain pain of keeping another black car clean and went with the avus silver.

Houston, Texas. Guy who owned previously dumped a few cars in his collection to purchase a F458.

oh yeah...the 496hp car...

Will speak with prior owner on the ECU this week. Apparently had it (ECU) GIAC flashed, but did not like this so he put in the Euro RS6 Plus ECU. Still not rated at 496...

Between April and September 2004, there was a final limited run of an even higher-performance RS6, named the Audi RS6 Plus. This had an increased engine power output (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motive_power) (identification code: BRV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_discontinued_Volkswagen_Group_petrol_engin es#C5RS6)), and produced over 353 kilowatts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilowatt) (480 PS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_horsepower); 473 bhp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horsepower#Brake_horsepower)) at 6,000-6,400 rpm, with the same 560 newton metres (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newton_metre) (413 ft·lbf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foot-pound_(energy))) of torque (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque) at 1,950-6,000 rpm. This engine was also developed and manufactured in the UK by Cosworth Technology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosworth) (now known as MAHLE Powertrain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAHLE_Powertrain)). The additional performance was achieved with a new engine control unit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine_control_unit) (ECU), and two additional coolant radiators (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiator_(engine_cooling)) behind the side-mounted intercoolers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intercooler) (these were standard fitment on the standard RS6 in hotter climate countries). Official performance figures indicate the discipline of sprinting from standstill to 100 kilometres per hour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilometres_per_hour) (62.1 mph (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_per_hour)) in 4.6 seconds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second). The RS6 Plus carries on to reach 200 km/h (124.3 mph) in 17.36 seconds, and has an official top speed of 280 km/h (174.0 mph).
