Trying to verify part number for water pump under intake manifold.

My part has 078 121 601F on it, however it does not show up under any part search, and Audi gave me a totally different part number. Anyone able to verify what the PN is supposed to be? I would have looked it up but vagcat doesn't seem to be working.

077121599A is the one I came up with. Priced at $285 from WorldImpex but you may find it cheaper and I would try to confirm that part # before ordering.
The part # you listed 078 121 601 without the "F" suffix came up at $225 from Worldimpex also?

077121599A is what Audi confirmed is the part by VIN.

I just heard something interesting form another forum, that the pump was relocated from under the intake manifold to the right side of the engine. Anyone know anything about this? Maybe thats why its a completly different part number?

The discription of the 078 part # is the same as the 077 one on ETKA - additional water pump, so maybe it used a different mount if they moved it.

P3U let us know which pump you go with an if there is a different mount. Seems like outside the manifold mount would be more convenient for Mx.
