difference between ebc red front and rears? shop says i got wrong pads!

they told me ALL 8 pads are for the front!
some of the pads have a wire clip i presume for brake sensor. others dont

Would it be possible to snap a pic? There are 8 front pads total. Maybe you don't have the rears yet? Let me do some digging, I think I have some pics of the front and rear pads.

Just got mine yesterday. Go in on Tuesday. The top 8 are for the front, 4 per side (remember, these are 8 piston brembos) Bottom are for the rear (just 2 per side)

ok thanks... looks like i do indeed just have the fronts... hmm. i better make sure they didnt charge for both..

You may get it in another shipment yet. It apparently can be common with the parts bin, if that's who you used.

yeah i looked on the receipt... it says 1 box delivered, and 1 backordered... i didn't bother to read the whole hting.. i just assumed "8 pads" meant all 4 wheels! ive never see that... ever..

Ya, lots of material to bite down on those big rotors. With 4 pistons on each side of a caliper - it makes one pad per 2 pistons. Most cars, even exotics, don't have 8 piston calipers.
